WIFI TERMS OF USE
WLAN Usage, liability and indemnification agreement for the use of Internet access via WLAN
1. Permission to use wireless internet access
The host provides wireless Internet access via WLAN in his holiday property. It allows the guest to share this Internet access via WLAN for the duration of their stay. The guest is not entitled to allow third parties to use this WLAN. The Host does not guarantee the actual availability, suitability or reliability of this Internet access for any purpose, in volume and in all premises. The landlord is entitled at any time to restrict the guest's access completely, partially or temporarily or to completely exclude him from further use. In particular, the host reserves the right to block access to certain pages or services via the WLAN at its reasonable discretion and at any time.
2. Access data
The host provides the guest with access data for this purpose (access security). These access data (login name and password) may not be passed on to third parties. The guest undertakes to always keep his access data secret. The host has the right to change these access data at any time or to limit their time.
3. Dangers of WLAN use, limitation of liability
The guest is aware that the WLAN only provides access to the Internet. The host does not provide any additional security measures (e.g. virus protection, firewall, etc.). The data traffic created using the WLAN uses WPA2 encryption, so that misuse by third parties is virtually impossible and the data cannot be viewed by third parties. The content accessed is not subject to verification by the host. Use of the WiFi is at your own risk and at the guest's own risk. The host assumes no liability for damage to the guest's end devices or data caused by the use of the WLAN, unless the damage was caused intentionally or with gross negligence by the host and/or his vicarious agents.
4. Responsibility of the user
The guest is solely responsible for the data transmitted via the WLAN, the (paid) services used and the legal transactions carried out. If the guest uses third-party services via the WLAN, the resulting costs must be borne by him. The guest undertakes to comply with applicable law, particularly when using the WLAN. In particular, the guest will:
• not unlawfully reproduce, distribute or make publicly available any copyrighted works; This applies in particular in connection with the upload and download of file sharing programs or similar offers;
• do not use the WLAN to access or distribute immoral or illegal content;
• observe applicable youth protection regulations;
• not send or distribute harassing, defamatory or threatening content;
• do not use the WLAN to send spam and/or other forms of unauthorized advertising.
5. Release of the landlord from claims of third parties
The guest releases the host from all damages and claims from third parties resulting from the guest's unlawful use of the WLAN and/or from a violation of this agreement. This exemption also extends to the costs and expenses associated with the claim or its defense. If the guest recognizes or must recognize that such a violation of the law and/or such a violation has occurred or is threatened, he or she will point this fact out to the host.
6. Documentation
The guest was informed that every use of the host's WiFi will be documented and archived with IP address, MAC address, date and duration in order to hold the host harmless if necessary and to provide evidence of which guest used the WiFi and when.
By making a binding booking, the WLAN terms of use are also deemed to have been read and accepted. Guests who violate the rules will be held liable with all associated consequences.
